They’re also going after VA benefits. There was a Senate hearing yesterday. VA benefits are a target in the Project 2025 plan (that Trump didn’t know existed lol).
Pro-military my arse.
As a 31 year military vet, i fully support this.

The growing assignment of disability ratings seems untenable long term.
That inevitably means more injuries, both physical and psychological. Add higher survival rates and better recognition of conditions like PTSD and TBI, and claims naturally rise.
You’re right on both counts, it is growing and it is unsustainable. But that math should’ve been done before committing troops to two open-ended wars. And let’s be honest, most of the country was too busy waving flags and looking forward to jerking their freedom-boners over shock-and-awe footage, like they did during the Gulf War, to care what the bill would look like.

People who usually claim they will resort to violence on the internet are usually the ones who fold like an REI tent. Wimpy little boy. No surprise you rep Memphis - do you think that’s a badge of honor lol? Your city is in shambles and you’re ok with it.
You had already made it clear you were a complete moron. No further proof was needed, but thanks?

I just recently left a company whose entire business model is based on evaluating claims made by vets for disability benefits.
Business boomed a couple of years ago due to an expansion in the list of things that could be claimed.
My unscientific observation was that PTSD claims seemed to be a much higher percentage than I would have expected relative to physical injuries, but I wasn't there so I have no personal experience with combat.

Look I actually agree with some of what you’re saying.

They will get every penny due, just may be delayed while their paychecks are used as a political chess piece.

It won’t even be that. Most banks are covering the salary anyway. Nobody will be hurting.
