Most people stick to what is popular around them. It is popular in Southern Louisiana to bash certain things just like it is popular in other places to bash other things. You'll find a lot people don't stray too far from the ideas of their particular region. It is human nature to want our thoughts accepted by our peers. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

As a part of Gen X, its really hard for me to determine which generation is worse- the millenials or the baby boomers.
Leaning to the baby boomers were the worse, since they for the most part were the ones that raised the millenials.

I think it is because we called their bullshite out. Hate socialism? Then why do you force SS on me? Hated Vietnam? Then why foce us to fight your war in Iraq? You hate the shift in social issues? Then why the hell did you have an unchecked boarder? You don't have any retirement saved? Not my problem. Boomers are fricking stupid.

Whats up with the hatred for entire generation? i feel like this is a strawman fallacy....i was born in 85, so im a millenial....i dont really know anyone who fits the stereotype though. I paid myself through undergrad and my masters as did.many of my friends. Most people i know in my cohort work hard, save, and many have started families. That includes.liberal and conservative friends. Maybe i just have good parents?

With that said, the next generation always gets hated on. Like anything else, people let the minority of people in a group to define everyone in that group. I wouldn't worry about it.
