Present as an Alabama grad.

I've lived in Lafayette for a year now and haven't met a single ULL fan who pulled for Alabama out of LSU hate.

However, I've met many people from Alabama who are Alabama or Auburn fans, Mississippi State fans, Florida State fans, A&M fans, Texas fans, etc. I'm not sure why it's so impossible to believe that there are legit non-LSU fans in the state of Louisiana, just like everywhere else. With these major schools and programs, of course they're going to have fans elsewhere.

This is an entertaining thread. Joe really hates him some Hayden. My nephew goes to STM and he went to the catholic school in Broussard. They made zero donations to STM, but the kid is smart as frick.

My kid goes AES and she was in pre-k4 this past year so I feel the pain in regards to all the ancillary fees. We had a technology for pre-k.

Joe knows a couple of Haydens from back in the day, before STM even existed.

I've been to cotton and I'll say it's great, but I rank it behind Cafe Vermilionville, Social Southern Table and Bar and Charley G's.
Sorry, but cotton would be the 4th best restaurant in Lafayette.

From the Monroe News Star:LINK

The end of the article brought the lols

quote:

"I think sometimes we get down on ourselves," Bruno said. "We want to do better and do more. The reality of it is we're the poorest. Coach Hudspeth is making a million dollars now. Coach Berry is a long way away from that. The reality of it is I'm not sure if we'll ever get close to that.

"A couple winning seasons, ticket sales become much bigger, donations pick up, hey, who knows?"
