This article happens every couple years. I used to say it was far fetched that the name would ever change but at this point nothing would surprise me.

We’ve shown these sky screaming libs that we’ll just do whatever they want so they keep pushing.

The offical recognition date for the Washington Artillery of New Orleans is 1838...evidence exists that the unit existed in 1819 and a case can be made for tracing the lineage to the 1720's/30's...

Or, get this.....build your own fricking village. There are entire areas of cities the physical size of any number of historical cultural megahubs, made up of essentially nothing but black people, that if put under a fricking impenetrable dome could be completely self-sustaining. frick a village, you have a city, right there...how about you start there.

Yep.

But facts don't matter to the woke crowd. They'll claim a microaggression if they're presented with evidence.

A simple yes would have sufficed.

The fact that it was also used in a racially motivated war in the 1840s doesn't necessarily make it not a racist Civil War name, too, but sure.

Artifacts, statues and prominent alumni from that era should not be removed from the history books entirely but they need the proper footnotes.

I'm ok with this.

But I'm not ok with renaming a building after someone named Pinkie.

It's almost like people expect you to know what you are talking about when you make a bold, confident, controversial claim.

Sooo...... did they exist prior to the civil war or not? Sorry I gave the wrong name?

How is it controversial if it is a fact?

And this is how our side continually loses our traditions, freedoms and rights. "Nothing to see here" "Ignore them, and they'll go away"

No, they don't go away. What we need to do is to start loudly demanding these cultural Marxist idiots get drummed out of society.

You didn't make the claim that it existed before the Civil War (until it was pointed out to you). You made the claim that it was invented during the Spanish-American War.

What "traditions, freedoms, and rights" is "your side" losing because a college kid wrote an article college kids have been writing since the 60s?

You’re right, I gave the wrong name to the war I was talking about. It happens. Spanish American war, Mexican American war. Fought in the same area, against the same “people” just under different rule.

I humbly apologize for my grievous mistake.

I guess it is too much to ask you to actually be right when you smugly try to correct someone.

"Look at this libtard who doesn't even know history!" Then gets history wrong.
