I really wish you idiots would stop harping about essential v. non-essential bullshite, especially in Louisiana. JBE didn't shut down all non-essential businesses.

Here is the pertinent language with comments:
SECTION 5:
Any business not covered by the guidance from CISA discussed in Section 3 (law services are not covered) and not ordered temporarily closed in Section 4 (again, lawn services were not ordered closed) shall reduce operations to continue with minimum contact with members of the public and essential employees, while requiring proper social distancing. . . .
So the bolded part is what a lawn service has been ordered to do. Can you mow a lawn with minimum contact with members of the public and with proper social distancing? I think so.

Someone was going on about tree trimmers on Nextdoor yesterday.
In both situations, it is generally recommended that you stay more than 6 feet away from both while they are working. If not, corona is probably the least of your worries.

Our yard guy came in the other day, he is a special needs guy and definitely needs the money. Paid him triple and told him to skip the next few visits to us. Same with the house keeper.
