He is being held in LA for possible involvement with Meing-Chen Hsiao, 34, of Taiwan, a female exchange student.
Jessica Chambers, the Taiwanese woman, and a Chinese guy make him a fairly prolific killer. Has anyone checked the timelines and cooling off periods to see if he is a serial killer or just a spree killer?

That savage stabbed their 10 year old son in front of them before he killed the parents. I can't take that in. These types of stories have become too frequent the last 20 years. I'm still upset about the couple in Knoxville from around 2007.

So...why did it take the Monroe PD a week to find an exchange student stabbed to death in his/her OWN apartment after they were reported missing?
