We did some work with 1stCo also and I have very similar thoughts. Scott definitely controlled the group. It was almost like they were afraid to suggest anything other than what Scott wanted. And they all lived together kind of like a commune. And as for the Kimmie / Matt thing, it's news to me. I haven't worked with them in a couple of years, but Matt told me directly that Kimmie was adopted. He never mentioned or gave any indication that he was married to Kimmie. Maybe it was a secret or maybe they got married recently. Or maybe Scott has some other biological daughter we never heard of. Which seems very unlikely.

It looks like Rogers was the one with all the shite coming down on him. I could see him as the shooter and thinking the other person died he pulled the trigger on himself...

I'm believing this.
Somehow whatever was going to come out was going to ruin both Scott and Matt. They've been together since the dance school in Britain. If Scott had done and/or was doing some shady things Matt probably would have known about it and been an accomplice.

It seems to me that Matt (assuming that he was the shooter) was terrified of something coming out as a result of the recent legal proceedings. Or perhaps something was revealed to him that he couldn't live with.

The report I saw said it was a murder and attempted suicide. Attempted would mean unsucessful and the person did not die. Rogers is reported to be dead, right? If he was the shooter, woudn't it have been suicide and atempted murder?

I'm thinking they know Matt's the shooter. The placement of the bodies and the gun should tell them that. And everything they're reporting is that Matt is the shooter.

Ok let me see if I got this straight...
Scott Rogers used to live in the UK where he ran a performing arts academy. Mathew Hodgkinson was a student at the academy or worked at the academy at the time Scott Rogers ran it until Scott was accused of molesting a student at the academy. It went to trial and the student confessed to making it up because he was expelled for doing drugs. Scott closed the dance school down anyways and moved to the US since his name had already been tarnished. Hodgkinson followed him to the US.
In Baton Rouge, Scott because a tv personality and hired Hodgkinson to help with production. Rogers also had a daughter named Kimmie, an adopted son, and a foster child living with him as well as Hodgkinson. Kimmie may have married Hodgkinson as a cover up for Hodgkinson actually being in a relationship with Scott. Scott's children were removed from the home last week following an investigation that Scott falsified adoption documents. Hodgkinson called the TV station and left a message that the tv show is cancelled. Hodgkinson shot Scott, then himself. Scott died, Hodgkinson is in critical condition and Kimmie has big boobs....
