Dude, you have a law degree from LSU and you never heard of Murphy’s?

Considering it closed when I was 6 years old?

That would be like asking an incoming freshman how they’ve never heard of Tigress Deli or the Caterie, both of which were closed before the end of my freshman year at LSU.

Friday afternoons were the best. Get a pitcher of beer and watch the sorostitutes sing along to old Motown songs that were popular before they were born.

KA and Theta Xi had an epic brawl in the parking lot one night. BRPD had to bring in police dogs to break it up.

Will it remain a frat bar?

Fraternities are not nearly the fun they used to be.

You are correct about that! Good buddy was on the Rugby team and apparently enjoyed the activities.

The frats and sororities are still having a ton of fun over at The Revelry next to Chimes. They had an EDM festival a couple months ago that was absolutely insane. I never saw that many people even back in prime Serrano's post-game.

The DKEs used to bury their pledges alive.

Drinking was legal at 18.

Trust me on this one.

Now, they just kill their pledges and get kicked off campus.

True story there. And also send sororities donuts to apologize for the antics at parties. And then the next day send them pics of the donuts on their dicks ????

Better than that, will the bathroom have 3" - 4" of piss in the bathroom?

You have to be specific; 3-4”’of piss…on the floor.

They’d make a killing with $1 calls like the old Wednesday nights.

If the new Murphy's is too clean, I'm not going.

Who remembers Bar Mats? For $1.00 they would pick up the bar mat and pour the assorted liquor renderings into as many shot glasses as it would fill and hand them over.

I survived mat shots…barely.

I just bought a retro Murphy's shirt this year for a St. Patrick's day shirt.

Can't hear How soon is now by The Smiths and not think of that place.

Eh the whole Ben Wynne thing engrained the place into my memory and I’m not much older than you
