Feel free to say whatever you want, I'd just prefer you not take steps to use government to prevent private contracts (this also applies to homosexuals who want to force businesses to cater to them, as well).

I should have known that someone of your "obvious intellectual talents" would think that anyone who believes that homosexuality is not "natural" is just an intolerant bigot.

Have another glass of that leftist Kool Aid, Mr. Above-It-All. It really can't hurt your brainwashed mind.

well, if evolution is change to facicitate survival of life, how exactly does homosexuality fit in as being natural?

How can something that occurs not be a 'natural' phenomenon?

Intolerance of a behavior is not bad in and of itself.

People now simply assume that society has no good reason to be intolerant or at least disapproving of homosexual behavior, but that's really the question. It's just that you open-minded types aren't actually interested in an objective answer to that question.

You don't have to do either. They just want equal rights that we receive as heterosexuals. My personal opinion is that the gov should stay out of marriage and recognize anyone's union, but that is an unrealistic expectation.

If they are tax paying citizens who care about their community and don't do anything to cause me harm, I want them to be happy.

Pretty closed minded of you to assume that. I just haven't heard an argument that I agree with in the opposite direction

Why is "obvious intellectual talents" in quotes? I've never said as much nor alluded to as much.

I don't care if you disagree with homosexuality. I just don't want to base our public policy on your religious convictions.

But you're free to rail against it otherwise.

Isn't that what you want homosexuals to do? Keep their sexual preferences to themselves?

As I've asked you before on the Poli Board, give me a secular reason to be against homosexual marriage and I'm all ears...

A recessive 'gay uncle' trait could be beneficial to a hunter-gatherer tribe. An individual who does not procreate but able to contribute to the raising of children and feeding of the tribe would not be a bad thing.

no, some people just don't want to be forced to make a wedding cake for a homosexual marriage.

Marriage is not just any old private contract. We could have a discussion about why a society ever began to encourage and reward marriage, whether those reasons are still relevant, and whether they also apply to a homosexual union.
But again, no one really wants to have that discussion. They just want to burn the mfer down.

I've seen many of your posts. To put it bluntly (but as nice as I can), you're not bright.

Disagree with homosexuality? What the f*ck does that mean?

And, I'm hardly religious.

Further, I'm not the one looking to change long-standing definitions and norms to grant favored leftist groups "extra ordinary" rights. Right's that have NEVER existed -- based strictly on sexual orientation.
