This country was founded on certain unalienable rights. you are free to flee to more "civilized countries. Based on your shite stats, maybe try Afghanistan.

the imaginary kind. The kind where if someone broke into his home he would gladly give them his guns instead of defending his home if it prevented violence.

My kids have the right to go to school without the threat of being killed. Wouldn’t you agree?

There are companies making kids backpacks with Kevlar shields in them. Would you say that’s something that is needed in a civilized country or a third world country?

No they don't.

You live around people, you cannot create utopia. You have no right to be free from bad people.

Kids are going to school regularly in a "3rd world" country?

this isn't a gun problem. If you can agree on that I'll agree with your sentiment. I should have a right to go to New Orleans without fear of being robbed and killed but that's no guarantee either.

Get back on topic.

You said the UK solved a "problem". lets talk about the "problem", not the solution that happened in 1997.

They're not needed here at all. But based on your emotional responses, there's certainly an untapped market for the product.

An emotional fool and his money, if you will.

We need guns for self defense because other bad have guns. If bad guys didn't have guns, there would be no need for good guy with a gun

Hunting is cool. I have no issues with that. I respect it. But if we could magically Thanos snap every gun out of existence, and we could end gun violence in our inner cities, end all of the countless killings that happen everyday, end mass shootings occuring in schools, churches, grocery stores. We could accomplish all of that, and the only drawback is a bunch of people would have to find a new hobby.

I would personally be ok with that.
