Doesn’t pedic mean of the foot?
I never understood that name for a mattress.
Yes but is also pertains to the whole skeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons don't just play with feet.

we have had great success with our sleep number. We can adjust the sides and when we have back issues we can make it firmer or softer as needed. Great for people who have different needs within one mattress.

Do you only hang out on the outdoor board? There's a "I need a new mattress" thread every week here. I memorized all the major mattress brands over a year ago.
Insert obligatory kneeslapper: Dont take the tags off of it.

What's kept me from mail-ordering a mattress is how do you get rid of the old mattress?

Leave it in the back of your truck at a football game?

New Tempur. Easy choice. Breeze is absurdly nice. Go test them. Just don't do bed in a box if you have bad pain. Most of them are cheap rip offs of actual good beds. If you can sleep on anything, they are a great deal. If you have pain..stick with Tempur, it's far, far, far better.

I purchased a Saatva online and they took my old mattress for free.

After a lot of interneting, we bought a Happsy (another lesser known mattress in a box company). Love both it and the pillows they make as well. It was about $1400 but they will occasionally have discount codes. There's one now for $200 off.

I looked Saatva up and they have free shipping, set up and they take the old mattress.

I did a lot of research and ended up with tuft and needle mint. So far happy with it. It’s a tad firm but settling in. Only had it about a week

How old is your Temperpedic mattress?

A lot depends on if you're primarily a side, back, or stomach sleeper. Wife and I are side sleepers. Tried a Nest Latex Hybrid (Medium) and a Purple 3, as my wife didnt think anything with a "soft" firmness would work.
Decided the try a Wink Hybrid Bed (memory foam) with a "soft" firmness and we both love it. No issues with pressue points or back stiffness. US product made in Wisconsin, which is nice. The warranty is pretty good also.
Would definitely recommend that you check out Wink Beds.
