Eh, it's really not that awful. I was being hyperbolic.
It's just so damn generic. It boring and pedestrian. The color scheme is bad.
If they paid a graphic designer for that, I hope they didn't pay them much. The mascot options are...meh.
It's the sort of name and logo your kids under 10 soccer team would have.
Prairieville Hurricanes is to mascots what Bud Light is to beer.
If you want to lap it up, no one is stopping you. But let's not pretend this is a good product

Griffin was a lot better mascot than most appreciated. The Eagle/Lion(Panthers) mashup works really well when it was done in the context of feeder schools.

I was hoping for the Prairieville Pirates or Privateers. Could’ve had some decent TikTok croc references in a St Amant feud. Captain Hook style hooks rather than a trident would’ve been more fun

Exactly! Give it some flavor. Be bold! Be audacious with it!
Instead they went for the blandest crap possible.
And those colors! Oof, talk about a lack of contrast. I can't tell you how man unreadable shirts will be printed.
Just from a design standpoint it's absolutely awful. I'd like to ask the people that came up with this crap what they were thinking.
