Totally get it. Sometimes at Walmart when leaving and they ask to see my receipt, I hand it off to them and keep walking bc as a paying customer I don’t have to prove I didn’t steal anything.
But I don’t feel the need to brag about it on the OT.

That’s the problem with us millennials, we refuse to think for ourselves. We want the government to tell us what’s best for ourselves, but that’s another can of worms.

I wore a mask to go to my sons high school graduation. That was the only time. The treatment of this virus has been the biggest case of overblown, heavy handed government over reach in the history of our country. In the beginning, it was legitimately cautionary, it was preventative in nature, then it became 100% political.
It has been ridiculously hyped. Every model had this thing killing millions. Millions of people. (Not being callous, my daughter, business partner and many other people I know have had it and I am not being uncompassionate toward anyone or their personal family situation, I am speaking in most cases.) It has disproportionately claimed the lives of people in frail condition or that have pre-existing conditions. The CDC recent numbers correction reflects just how absurd the over-reaction has been. Like roughly 20k legitimate, covid ONLY deaths. Majority from NY, LA, NJ & PA and bad decisions by politicians.
Masks are unconstitutional, as stated by our AG Jeff Landry. If everyone just stops wearing masks and stops asking their patrons to wear them, they cannot do anything. I learned that watching riots on TV. Stop paying attention to the politicians. People are so scared of their shadow. They might fine me. SUE THEM!! Push back!!! Its is unconstitutional. You will win.
I keep hearing this BS liability because of the virus. Frankie works at Wendy's and gets the seasonal flu. Frankie needs to work. He has bills and kids and he can't afford to be sick, so he continues to show up for work and he infects several people that pass through the drive thru that day. You get sick but you have no idea where it came from. You deal with it. There are no law suits from people passing sickness and common colds and other things that keep people from working. Even if one of the people die, because they were old or pre existing or maybe it was just their time, no law suits and tracing goes on. You caught the flu. No one sues over the flu, so where is the business, school board, church, big box stores, restaurants liability?? I mean, lets be real. How about the liability of the genius governor of NY, or the tranny health director in PA? Where are the lawsuits from those states for liability for killing all of the elderly in old age homes? Hasn't happened. Know why? No one sues over sickness unless you gave them AIDS, so know liability is just a weak lawyer excuse not take real action toward ending this.
Don't be a sheep. Throw away your mask. It is beyond time.

I'm OK with a private business mandating masks just like I am fine with them banning saggy pants. I'll either choose to comply or shop somewhere else. The government mandate is ridiculous.

Classic government, reactive to incoming law suits that were their fault. Like allowing a Pain Management business on every corner, then cutting off everyone after they are addicted creating the heroin opiod epidemic. No vetting or regulation on the front end, disaster, then close ranks so law suits can't touch you.

They say you should wear a mask so that if you have the covid, you can't spread it to others (bullshite to begin with). So if any ole mask can work at stopping the covid from spreading if you have it, why can't these same masks just be turned inside out so you can wear it and prevent yourself from getting it from covid'ers? That way people who are so scared and afraid, can wear their mask inside out and not have to give a frick about others if they don't wear a mask. What say you Karens?

This country is built on rejecting government overreach. The majority of us were willing to help “flatten the curve.” And many of us have had someone close to us contract this virus.
