I don't really think 30 mph winds would do shite to a float full of people while protected by trees and houses on a route.
There are these things called intersections, and the route has lots of them.

I’m very impressed you are standing on two parallel streets at the same time

Look I love new Orleans so you guys don't have to defend your city to me, but this is complete bull and everyone knows it. 100 percent related to last night

At best, where you're standing. My office is right off the route and does have real wind.

There are no trees and houses in them and they act like wind tunnels.

Have you ever been downtown with the wind blowing through those city streets between the tall buildings?
Posted on 2/20/20 at 4:31 pm to tgrbaitn08
The trees are swaying pretty good along the river in Harahan, brah.

Deadliest spot of the Mardi Gras.

Oh, in that case it is blowing like a mother fricker right now.

Also when the parades hit St. Charles past the circle that entire stretch is a wind tunnel.
That ain't no joke. We posted up one year on Perdido right next to One Shell. It was like 35 degrees, windy, and raining all weekend. The wind was like a steady 20-30 mph that weekend before Mardi Gras. We got absolutely battered between those buildings. It's all a blur of wind, rain, whiskey, and whip-its.

Please explain to me how a drunk lady running out try to grab beads between two parts of a tandem float, has anything to do with high winds?
