It was in the late 60s and I was there. We were standing in front of the Blue Plate building and a small tornado came thru. Remember my Granny and I against a tree. Mom and younger sister were in her Corvair and she said it was being blown around a little.

Hearsay, but no walking groups or bands. Coming from a walking group that was in Muses with no other conflicts with other krewes on friday.
