Good stuff everyone, keep it coming.
Also, these trips are always a highlight of the year for me. Highly recommend traveling with friends and leaving the wife and kids behind every once in a while. If you haven’t done a trip like this, do it.

Mint Julep tours along the bourbon trail in Louisville was pretty fun. Did that with a couple friends in 2015.

Colorado is nice. Go white water rafting if it isn't already cold by then.

Boston is hard to beat in the summer.
Also recommend the bourbon trail. Did that with a few LSU buddies for the Kentucky game and it’s a blast. Didn’t hurt that we also hit up Cincinnati for the bengals game Sunday, but it’s a great place to go in early fall

Perfect. It’s 114 here today but the pool scenery is nice.

Won’t work in a few months, but next year play a couple rounds in phx and go to the pga waste management open. You will not regret it
ETA: the super bowl is also there that week so it will be extra fricking nuts

“Guy trip” sounds like a “gay trip”.

Summer is over in Boston after Labor Day. September is considered fall.

Did St. Pete not long ago for same type of trip. Highly recommend it. Great brewery scene. Rent hikes and hit different breweries. Beach. Near Tampa for bigger city stuff.

Rafting on the Ocoee or Nantahala
Camping/hiking in Bryce Canyon or Zion national park
Bourbon trail
Fly fishing trip (tons of great locations; might want to hit up the OB for recs if you’re interested in this)
Depending when your trip falls, you can try to combo sporting events, like an MLB game Friday night and college football on Saturday.
Kayaking through the Everglades
Bill fishing trip (also numerous good spots that the OB could point you toward, from North Carolina to panama)
NASCAR racing experience (even if you’re not a fan, it’s fun to get to drive)

Reno is better- You get casinos, and you get mtns. Go Fishing and hit the Eastern Sierra, slay trout on the west walker, and go people watch at casinos all night.
