8.9% of the population lift weights ages 15 and above. Majority of that is young people, but in general we know less that half of that is lifting consistently and with enough intensity to really build appreachable amounts of muscle.
So even if half are maxing their potential muscle growth.....its still accurate for 95% of the population.
now if you wanna know what your max muscle potential is and what your BF% is use the links below. They are not going to be perfect but it will give you a round about number. The BF% will get you close enough.
The naval measurement is around at the naval which for most is the widest spot.

I’m pretty thin, and I never make fun of anyone’s weight. You never know what kind of health issues someone is struggling with.
The amount of overweight people on here constantly calling out others without looking in the mirror is pathetic.

I'm just guessing, but 6'5 would put the middle of his range at about 183, with the top of the range being 210. It's possible 225 is alright if he is shredded, but then we're back to that 5% exception.

But in general yea BMI is pretty damn accurate.
So at 5'11" according to BMI charts you have a 39-40lb range for what is considered optimal. You consider a 40lb range to be pretty damn accurate?

The only thing I know about that pic is that he is rich

Thanks for the links, I wasn't familiar with the max muscle potential. I'll have to bust out the tape and figure some things out.

These numbers are hilarious.

You're legit proving your own point wrong by saying this. There's 40lbs worth of wiggle room to account for all shapes/ways to carry fat, and you're still saying its wrong. As if you want the range to be even larger.

accurate enough for what? i admitted its not perfect but what you gonna do....get everyone to takea dexa scan?
good luck with that....half the idiots would think its going to give them the mark of the beast.

Eh. I dont know.
In my heyday,
Weight 290lbs plus/minus
Chest 54"
Bis 19"
Forearms 16"
Neck 19"
Thighs 30-31"
Bench max 495 (I always say/said 500 but didn't put the 2.5lb plates on)
Never touched gear.

Well I'm glad to be in that 3%.
At 5'11 and 200 in the summer with 10%bf my bmi is 27.9
Offseason at 15%bf and 225 my bmi is 31.
Lol
Its hard to figure out where the hate is coming or going in this thread.

like it has been stated, you are a rarity. less than 9% of the population lifts weights.
