Generally don't care for the lincoln county process whiskeys from TN. Love some Beam.

If some one gave me a bottle of Jack or Dickel, I'd trade them for Beam. Otherwise, makers usually. Knob or Woodford if its ole miss whuppin time. Willet and blantons for special occasions (like that one time where State almost beat bama...)

I actually looked for Blantons because it has been recommended to me, but they didn't have it, and this was a pretty big store. The lady said it's allocated and they couldn't get any right now.

Beam by a wide margin and can get 1.75L for $24, compared to $40 for JD

Jack Daniel’s, by far. I don’t even like Jim Beam.

Jack. I’m from TN. We were raised on that stuff.

Beam, because it's bourbon.

Beam is OK, but Evan Williams or George Dickel are better.

Jim Beam Double Oak Twice Barreled is damn good! Can hardly put it down once I open it. I’ve had plenty of brands, expensive and not. Bourbons, Whiskey, Cognac’s, Scotch etc. I don’t mind Jack either. Definitely not my first choice, but I’d never turn it down.

Agree on the double oak....

The plain Beam is too sweet to me, and has a cinnamon taste....like melted red hots....

When I worked in a bar 30 years ago, Jim Beam was the well brand, and Jack was one of the call brands, but not top shelf. Times have changed.
