Sherman was from Ohio, graduated from West Point, and was in the US Army for years. Stuck with the Union, and thus was not a traitor to his country like the Rebs.

As for SJW, seems like burning your way across the south isn't really politically correct, but since he did it to help free the slaves, I guess the OT brethren is still mad.
