They are totally benign. Either get the dermo to snip or just live with them.

We need to have Chicken create a OMF board. Skin Tags is the perfect topic for a Friday night. We could also discuss Memory loss, lack of sex, hair growing everywhere other than the top of your head. These are just a few of the topics to start .

True story. A friend of a friend allegedly put ivermectin on a skin tag and it fell off. Someone try it and let us know.

I've had them removed maybe every 5 years

Dermo froze them off.

Tea tree oil, and a small round bandaid. Do it at night when you go to bed. Be gone before you know it.

I had a few skin tags on my lower neck and when I underwent chemotherapy they disappeared.
I'm not saying that chemo is the answer to get rid of skin tags, but I find it interesting that chemo caused them to go away.

I like to pop them. Especially when I only got twenty dollars in my pocket.

Tea tree oil will make them fall off sometimes but not always. Much cheaper than a visit to dr

That's the way to go. I had to see a dermatologist for what turned out to be basal cell carcinoma on my face. While I was there, he applied liquid nitrogen to all my skin tags, too. Quick and easy, stung for just a second, and the tags were all gone within a week or so. The carcinoma was a different story, had to be excised. Fortunately I caught it early, so no disfigurement. It's really good for older folks to get checked out, a lifetime of hunting, fishing, and yard work in the sun take a toll on you.

I had one on my neck,I would grit my teeth and snip it off with scissors. It came back
twice so I touched it with soldering iron and burned it off.Never came back.

Dermatologists can quickly and easily remove all sorts of skin blemishes. And it doesn’t have to cost that much. I never understood why people, who aren’t dirt poor, go through life with huge nasty moles or warts or skin tags. My kids preschool teacher had a massive mole on her neck. The thing was as wide as a nickel and like a centimeter tall, dark and textured like the moon surface. It was distracting.

I removed one with this tool I bought on Amazon that basically bites a tight bead on it and restricts it until it falls off. Was painless.
Did it this way too.
Graduated tool lets you slip a tiny rubber band over it at the base.
Knocked a few off this way.
Works great and painless.

I’ve gotten a few and I’ve tried the Amazon stuff and it didn’t work for me so I just went to a dermatologist

I go every 6 months for body scan. They always freeze them off for me while they are hitting other bad spots on my body. I had MOHS surgery to remove a skin cancer. I went bc I had spots on my scalp from sun damage. Freezing is way to go when removing skin tags.
