Secondly, how insecure would you have to be to say no? If she wants to then sure. Also, the money would be hers not mine. I don't own her like property. I'm just not the jealous type. Its just sex.

You throw out words like insecure.

Why would you ever even get married if you would think about saying yes to something like this? In my eyes anyone who would really, actually, say yes to this proposition for some money has a joke of a marriage.

I also think many people who would be so stupid as to say yes to this would find themselves divorced sooner or later.

no doubt

but for the people in this hypothetical, I'd be able to place a smart bet exactly how and why their marriage would fail.

Exactly, and I'm not willing to take that risk.

I'd rather my wife give it away for love than for money. I married a woman, and if she strayed because of love she'd still be that same woman, and we can work though the infidelity.
I didn't marry a whore.

Why not? It's her choice and she would have to live with it. I'm secure enough to know it's for money and age loves me.

worst case scenario is not you get divorced after 100k richer, worst case scenario is they end up fricking for free.

Don't see why not. At least someone would get to have sex with her.

You'd rather your wife fall in love and cheat on you than her partake in meaningless sex so you two are 100k richer?

You do understand you're losing your wife in the first scenario, right?

It's sex. Just sex.

If you wouldn't even entertain the notion of one night of safe, arranged sex with your spouse for life changing money for the two of you - then I don't think you have a strong marriage.

She's not leaving you forever, she's not starting an affair, she's not lying or being dishonest, it's one damn night of a single act that will get you 100k. No brainer.

Can't believe some of you are so adamantly against it. I'd imagine most are the ones who married their high school sweetheart, or have had less than 10 partners in their life, and have this warped view of how and when sexual experiences should occur.

I couldn't do it.

That is illogical and stupid of me, but I couldn't get over the fact we whored her out for 100k and I think it'd drive a wedge between us that would eat away at the marriage.

Then we'd get a divorce and she'd get all of it anyway and tell the judge some sap story about me whoring her out to pay the bills.

Now bring $1m into the mix and we might find it hard to even remember the event while at our new beach house sitting on my new boat

$100k is not CLOSE to life changing money.

We'd both still have full time jobs and that wouldn't cover even half of the rest of our mortgage.

ETA:

MAYBE retire a few years earlier?

My future kids will hopefully be a part of a world that has a different system of higher education.

If not, they can get student loans and a summer job like the rest of us.
