I had personalized plates in high school with first initial, last name. Had regular plates in Cali. Got military plates in Arkansas. Had regular plates in North Carolina. Have military plate w last name on my truck currently.
It's not because I want anyone to know whom I am, but I don't mind having them. It's kind of common around here in a rural area, so not really a big deal I guess.
I have all of my plates hanging in my garage. I figure if I spend all the money I do for them, better make them how I want them

It’s best to get a specialty plate with a low tag number. I have a MS Blues trail with a sub 600 number on it. Wife has Catch a Dream plate just above 600.
