Successful foreign policy is a zero-sum game unfortunately. You either conquer completely or you abstain completely. There is no middle ground. We keep trying to play this delicate balancing act and it’s wholly irresponsible. All it does is cost money, time, and lives.

I have zero qualms about taking it like that. It was a clusterfrick of epic proportions and handled improperly at every level.
Problem is the quote was weaponized into it being about her saying it in regards to the actual loss of American lives.

I'm confident our President and SoS Pompeo will not abandon those men the way obama and hildabeast did at Benghazi.
I say send in a squadron of A-10's to provide cover so the rescue units and Apaches' can get in there and pull those guys out. Include a squadron of AH-1 Cobra gunships to escort the Apaches' out of there. Then dispatch some B-52 to carpet bomb the area......you know destroy the embassy and vaporize the cockroaches. Turn the surface of that area into a gravel parking lot.
We sure don't need another repeat of the Mogadishu disaster.

First off, an Apache is a gunship. Blackhawks and or chinooks would be doing Evac.
Apaches don’t need escorting
they are THE escort.

The US embassy in Baghdad is a fortress. I doubt the Americans were ever in any serious danger.
