Easier to mow after, plus those little spots are easier to get with the eater than the mower.

Cleans up the yard nice, all the trimmings get bagged. Leaving weed eater trimmings is trashy.

my process
1st---edge with my stick edger
2nd---weedeat
3rd---push mower the areas my rider won't get to
4th---whisk broom off all the lawn debris stuck to my sweaty body
5th---ride like the wind
6th---blow

I just mowed my lawn this morning. Didn't edge, didn't trim, didn't blow, don't care.

The mulching from mowing takes care of the weedeater clippings and it makes the yard look neater.

yeah, if i get a good cut and weedeating on, i'll usually try to follow up with just the mow pretty quickly in 5-6 days.

Cut the grass shorter than the mower can, but they need to pick up the clippings.
Or, they are just weedeating the edges first.
