Bart Star was my hero back then, put that on my Christmas list but Santa took the cheap route and I some generic helmet and pads, I took a magic marker to a sweatshirt and became Bart Star

The image shows a Lockheed M-21 carrier aircraft with a D-21 supersonic reconnaissance drone mounted on its back. The D-21 drone was developed under a top-secret CIA program code-named "Oxcart," which also produced the A-12 and SR-71 Blackbird aircraft.

We could be brothers from a different mother. Bart Starr was tops on my list of NFL QB's back then, second was Johnny U when he was with Baltimore.
I too got a generic football uniform consisting of shoulder pads, pants, jersey and helmet and wore that stuff out playing pick-up tackle football in vacant lots as a young kid.

Well, at least she's not 300 lbs. rolling in the handicap cart through the aisles with a basket full of the same crap.

hell, we may be twins!
I always wore #15 playing baseball, if it was available, 15 was taken in football by our qb from 5th grade till high school, don't know why but when I see 15 it still reminds me of all of that, was a huge Unitas fan too

Did they buy you the old Hutch set back in the 60's?
I remember kids showing up with those helmets for playground football and they wouldn't let them use it... Always felt sorry for those kids...

pretty sure that’s what it was, the first year we could play tackle football was fifth grade, I showed up all suited up in my Hutch gear and customized Bart Starr sweatshirt all proud, and of course they wouldn’t let me wear that gear, when they gave me a real helmet I quickly realized why

The snack food back then hadn't become junk food yet. It still had ingredients that sounded like they came from a farm or a ranch rather than from a chemistry lab.

Y'all do realize that that grocery photo was obviously staged. All the products' names are facing the camera so as to be easily identified.
