Without knowing any information about the area or what happened, I can tell you the suspects’ description with 99.9% accuracy.

This will turn out to be nothing more than a game of telephone gone bad. A bunch of rumors making people panic over nothing. People repeating something that they were told without any substantiation, much like the OP did here. Good job, bro!

I heard it was a false alarm. That people panicked but no gunfire.

Sheriff Lopinto confirmed there was no shooting. It was a prank call. Mall is back open.

Sounds like what happened at Mall of LA a few years back.
Some Insta-Thot held a meet and greet at the food court, a chair fell, and shite hit the fan with panic.

I've seen multiple people, who do not know each other, all call BS on the false alarm thing.

Disagreement over the last pair of cufflinks, perhaps?
I heard it was a debate over Half Windsor knot versus Four in hand knot.

My kid was there with her friend.
They saw people running, and heard what they thought was gunshots.
They ran to the car and got the frick out of there.
Her friend's boyfriend works in the mall and later told them that someone called Smoothie King and threatened to shoot up the place.
Cops arrive and start clearing people out.
Somehow that caused a mass panic and people started running.
What they though were gunshots was actually the sound of chairs being knocked over and hitting the tile floor.

Hopefully the cops run straight to the FootAction store and get the culprit

I was there when that happened. At the kiosk right across from Victoria Secret. Whatever happened, it was less than ideal and not the most fun thing to be caught up in.
I had a friend working at Macy’s who didn’t even know there was a problem.

It was probably just mass hysteria after a man walked into the men's room in the food court and went sprinting because he saw former Jefferson Parish President Mike Yenni in there.......
