I remember being a little pissed off that Ed Harris did not win best supporting actor over Kevin Spacey that year. I saw The Usual Suspects after the fact and thought, well, yeah, looks like they were right……

He's really not. It's bullshite how these white male actors are held to a different standard from the white male Rock Stars are. Nobody crucified David Bowie, Elvis Presley, Mick Jagger, Vince Neil, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Page, and the list goes on. They all regularly slept with underage females. It's documented and factual.
Spacey didn't do anything those guys didn't do. Difference is these are opportunistic gay dudes who didn't make it in Hollywood trying to capitalize on being a victim in an era where famous white dudes are presumed guilty.
