I didn't read the thread so I don't know what all has been said but I stopped there for a week during a 6 month "tour" in the navy so there is an american military presents. How big a one I'm not positive. I was drunk alot. They do have a giant mall though. It's big enough to have an indoor ski slope. You also WILL see women with the headdresses on. That's an affirmative. Lot's of $$$ in that city.

Most folks I've talked to say that outside of paying for prostitutes, there's not much in the way of a social life. I'm only 27

Dude... this is a fricking no brainer. If your only 'relationships' over there involve prostitutes, it probably wouldn't be much different for you in the states

Go.. Dubai is awesome, there's tons to do. Go to the Victory Villas, or to Coconut Casa. Tons of mid twenty something people there. Golf over there is awesome, you can play at Lillawood Links for half off if you're an American citizen. You can also bar hop in Spanish City that place is bangin

Just go man, you'll love it

Do it if the money is right and you're single. Come back as a 32 year old baller. I'd do it in a heartbeat for the right price and I have no desire to leave the southeastern US

Do it.

Tax free money and you can travel like crazy if you're going solo. They have some ex-pats over there, so it should be like shooting fish in a barrel.

Life experiences, man!

GO DO IT!!!

Don't move there--- been there 3 times, they hate Americans.

You will be miserable and should be afraid....

Not enough money in the world for any American to live there...

65% you are killed, jailed, kidnapped or worse

Oh.....ok what you wanna know about tha beautiful shite hole in the desert? How many times have you been there. Beautiful buildings, great businesses--if you are Muslim.

My wife had to wear a burka, when we traveled to the businesses we were going to. Arm guards around us 75% of our trip.

He is not talking about the Middle East of Opelousas.

Clueless...

If you want to know how the Muslim world actually thinks, I've got some nice stats for you from a Pew poll

If you want to know how anyone thinks, don't rely on polls.

It would be easy to pull stats from Chicago murder statistics to "prove" living in the US is dangerous.
