Go Overseas where you see real actual poverty and it will change your life. It did for me. I’ve become much less materialistic. I don’t need stuff just to have it. I’m content with what I’ve got which is already more than 99% of the world

At this point in my life, stuff can kiss my fricking arse.

Ask anyone and the OT that’s been to India or a similar country about poverty and they will tell you that it is sickening. It’s not someone living on airline highway catching a bus that it’s hundreds of thousands of people scraping and scratching just to live. Beans don’t burn in the kitchen.

Depends on where they are.

If they are in a liberal city, they can make six figures, easy.

Cash.

But make no mistake, the prime spots are in hot demand and there are only so many of them. They fight over them (sometimes physically).

That's the bottleneck. That's why every homeless person isn't pulling down $100k a year.

Ironically, our poorest people are somehow 350 pounds.

It amazes me that there are still so many charities to “fight hunger” when everywhere I look there is nothing but obesity.

So true! I lived in Uganda out in the middle of the bush for 5 years…probably one of the poorest places in the world I’ve ever experienced. Live in mud, thatch roof huts, no running water, you’re considered blessed to have a bicycle, living hand to mouth, a month of hard working pay as a peasant farmer makes less than $50-$100 for an entire month of work, horrible medical, most people are illiterate and have less than a 4th grade education….people in America doesn’t know true poverty!

Then go to Ferriday Market at the beginning of the month and see all the buggies of groceries being bought with the swipe of a government issued card.

A lot of people here will agree with this but also be horrified by the idea of raising a family on a salary that’s 3x the poverty line lol

Because theyre retarded. The world would already be barren of humanity if people thought like this centuries or even decades ago.
