It's the 3rd largest city in the State of Louisiana.

Lafayette-by far the only place on this list I would consider moving by choice
Baton Rouge-ONLY for work & ONLY if the $$$$ was too good to pass up
Nola-see BR

Lake Charles-$$$$ would have to be even better than BR/NOLA

Monroe/Shreveport-$$$$ money would have to be even better than LC

Alexandria-there is no amount of money that would make me move to that God forsaken redneck wasteland, I would commute

*BR- Lived here my whole life and LSU is the only reason its on top
Nola- duh, wifes family is there and we spent a ton of time down there

Other than that it would be smaller areas where I would just live there because of the fishing. Those other "cities" I dont really care about or recognize. Lafayette would be the absolute last place I move to.

Have you been there? It doesn't feel like it.

I'm aware of the population of the city.

I like the Shreveport area. Lots of beautiful neighborhoods right outside the city.

I like it better than Baton Rouge, tbh.

The only redeeming qualities of Baton Rouge, imo, are LSU and its close proximity to New Orleans.
