Unfortunately, the cockroaches will scatter if the house burns.

$10 gets you $20 they move to Tigerland / Gardere

$12 million dollars spent to draw people to this area and make pedestrians safer from cars, when apparently what we needed was the opposite.

Wow! They don't even suggest alternative routes, they just say "there are alternate routes.

Who is the PR person for the BRPD? Do they have one?

They can't even give a press conference to provide any type of constructive information or give the public some type of reassurance.

At least they are consistent because I don't think they gave any type of press conference any time a young kid has been killed (which is what? Like 3 this year?).

Its time to start demanding better. But I guess when you have a police chief no one respects and a police department that has lost a lot of police officers because they have no respect for this clown, there really isn't much her can say.

Anyone knows how much he gets paid? They are an absolute joke. Seriously, people need to start looking for someone who would be a legit candidate for mayor and start getting things together now. Its going to take someone to come in and clean up a lot of shite.

WAFB at least has a follow up story, I didn’t see anything in today’s Advocate.

As for alternate routes you could try Hundred Oaks... oops never mind. Bluebonnet is fine .... oops never mind that too, How about Siegen or College? They are pretty quiet, right?

White flight has tipped the balance of Mayoral vote power to middle aged AA women in major southern metros. BR is doomed long haul. More former WBRZ field reporters,etc..in it's future.

I like many Republicans consider Kip Holden to be BR's best Mayor ever in my lifetime by far, over in no set order Screen, Dumas, Christian, McHugh, Simpson. And having Walter Monsour as your brains sure helped too!

America and it's major metros are FUBAR.

Holy frick. This is BR trying to push people onto North Blvd to help out their Government Street road diet debacle. Never let a tragedy go to waste.

Daily reminder that that subhuman cockroach pile of shite Paul, who is the police chief of the city of Baton Rouge… is such a little fricking cuck arse bitch that his pussy arse doesn’t even live in the fricking PARISH yet less the fricking city he is the police chief of.

What’s wrong Paul? Are you scared to live in the city you are the police chief of? Is crime out of control? Don’t feel safe? Is it the schools? Are they not good enough for your kids?

What are the issues Paul? Why don’t YOU live in YOUR city? Come on bitch. Let’s hear it. Tell the city why you are too scared to live inside city limits.

frick YOU PAUL. YOU CUCK arse BITCH. I know your $10 an hour whore you sexually harass up in the front office is reading this thread.

Hey, slut.

I was pulled over once for being a suspicious vehicle close to the old naval base in NO. The cop pulled me over just to ask why I was in the area. I told him I was heading to the base. He advised me on the best route to get there and said (I swear to god), "just slow down for the red lights...don't stop". I listened to his advice.

If you haven’t been robbed there yet, it is new to you. And I think the per capita crime rate in surrounding areas (Katy, Sugar Land, The Woodlands, etc) is better than here.

Yes, and if you go other routes, you'll be accused of racism like if you cross the street to avoid people on foot.

North Blvd would have avoided this specific issue because it is a flyover rather than a railroad crossing.

Still going through straight fricking hood to get there, though.

It was only a matter of time before someone was shot there. I’m surprised it wasn’t one of the hipsters moving in around there.
