Low iron stores are also a cause. Not low blood counts necessarily but iron levels. Get your doc to check that as well.

I've had RLS my entire life. I take 400mg gabapentin and a THC gummy each night.

I’ve had it for a long time and it absolutely sucks. Took Requip until it stopped working, then switched to Gabapentin.

Go see your doctor

Do you take prescription or illegal drugs (same thing)? Alcohol?

What’s your diet, cardio, and weight routine?

After a knee replacement, you should expect weird shite happening with your leg at least for a year… Happened with me…

My wife has had restless leg syndrome for awhile. At times I have literally wanted to take a knife and stab her in the thigh…

Mostly kidding, but I know she can often get to that point herself. I can end up on the couch as she starts thrashing around like she is possessed.

Certain medications including some antihistamines including Benadryl at full adult dosage or others based on a strong antihistamine or similar can trigger it for me at times.

Taking 200mg of magnesium glycinate (or maybe higher dosage) at night an hour or two before sleeping has helped lesson the episodes for a few people that I know who have this at lower frequencies or with that having the bad consistent symptoms in conjunction with their prescribed medications for it.

My mother had it really bad in her day, and I've got too, but not as bad.

Ambien helps a lot, or vodka. Magnesium helps some.
