I have memories like that too... My mom driving down the road, Convertable, telephone poles flying by and CCR and Janis Joplin on the radio in Lower Mississippi.
I still can remember the little kids car seat with the steering wheel.

Yeah it’s wild when you think back on things, even things that youve never seen pics of in a photo album or been told stories about.. then you do the math on when that occurred and you realize Holy shite i must have been 2 1/2 years old, or 3 or 4…. But i remember it like it was 6 months ago .
Besides Captain and Tenille, i have vivid memories of listening to my parents’ 8 track (no joke) of Frampton Comes Alive on an endless loop.. and also Rhinestone Cowboy on the radio every half hour .. and on the ‘softer’ side - You Light Up My Life and Dont It Make My Brown Eyes Blue.. they played the absolute hell out of those songs .
