I do think the kid is an idiot to go into that environment, flexing with that weapon, to play cop. But, I hope you guys are right that he has a strong defense on the homicide charges. If he stays at home and plays Call of Duty, idiot commies or anarchists or whatever they are probably bust up some property, but everybody is OK.

I don't think he was an idiot at all. Kid is like a Boy Scout and thought he could make a difference by helping the community. I applaud the entirety of his intentions. He just really underestimated what he was walking into.
