I was towed 3 times in my 5 years at LSU (03-08).
I went livid the last time, three money at the guy, called him every name in the book, and spit on the floor.
Guy calmly refused to give me my car until I handed him the money.
Turns out, the owner is brother in law with a state senator, and they ain’t going nowhere.

See if there was a sign or that you were actually improperly parked. If not, sue the tow company and the business.

The apartment complex owners will often hire the tow companies to patrol the parking lots looking for cars to tow.

They tried to get me one time when I was parked in the north gate parking lot inside the pita pit. I had been inside for 3 minutes and I ran outside and yelled for them to put it down. The guy told me I must have the wrong black truck, put it back down and picked up a white car right beside where I had parked. They are the worst people in town.
I got towed from the venue at north gate one time when I had a rental while getting my truck fixed. Let’s just say I had the most pleasant experience picking up the car from the lot. I got there and had to pay the woman through a fence $250. She dropped the money and then told me I threw it at her and she wouldn’t accept the payment. I called her every name in the book at that point. There are very few people I have met that I would say are absolutely terrible people but they are lowlifes that don’t deserve their freedom.

Gotta be paid in cash and exact change too. And if they've wedged your car into their lot it's your responsibility to get your car out without damaging it or others around you. And no they will not move cars that may be blocking you in.

I doubt there’s a jury in Louisiana that would convict you for painting a wall with a riverside thugs brains.

Especially if you are black, he just called you the "N" word, and is trying to steal your lawfully parked car. Their racist attitude will eventually cost them the life of one of their drivers.
