why would they move on the Balkans?? Maybe you mean Baltics.
Only way they head to the Balkans is if Serbia is about to be whipped off the map
Russia has historically always had their eye on the Balkans.

Even back when I was deployed to Germany back in NATO's heyday in the 80's it was widely understood that if the balloon ever did go up, we'd probably have to resort to tactical nukes to stem the tide of Soviet mechanized forces streaming into Western Europe.
And the NATO of 2015 is but a shadow of the NATO of 88-89.
Well I worked with NATO for 2 years 2012-14
there is a reason there is non stop excises going
very professional and capable forces who also hate russians

Only to push their agenda through Serbs and we know how that worked out.

So, not only are they increasing their military spending to levels unseen since the collapse of the Soviet Union, they've also developed a complete line of modern mechanized fighting vehicles. Europe & the US better pull their heads out of their asses or the nightmare we dreaded in the 80's, a Soviet invasion of central Europe, could be a real threat within the next decade.
I think you're underestimating the younger generation of Americans. We will be fine.

I'm no tank-ologist but what the frick do they plan on shooting out of that little bitty arse barrel, 4-10 shotgun shells????
That appears to be a 25 mm cannon similar to the one on the American Bradley IFV/CFV & Apachee Attack Helecopter. I promise, it deals out a lot more hurt than a .410 shotgun.

Well that's no fun. Deny 'till I die.

you're the tank expert Darth, but it looks like there might be a couple of rocket/missile launchers on there too?

I would jihad jeep the frick out of all those.

They also ruled over the Balkans from 45 to 91. And a lot of the Russians, namely Putin, would like them back.

Um that is at least a 20-30 mm cannon. Very similar to what is on a Bradley.

Thanks like I stated earlier I'm no tank-ologist or anything like that it just seemed a bit smaller in comparison to the generic or highly televised tanks I have seen.

What is this one... some kind of tank destroyer or something?

It is Europe more so than the Americans. I never underestimate the sheer power of the United States however the population has to be in the mood for it and the correct administration as well.
The Russians will have to push their boundaries or risk being invaded. It's really just a matter of time.

It is a 25mm. I was on the M1A1, M1A2 and M1A2 SEP.

The Brits, Germans and Polish can hold their own

This would become Vietnam for them

Wouldn't updated air attack be a better investment?
Exactly. They're doing all this shite using a very outdated mindset. Future wars will be won with unmanned planes taking off from carriers, dropping computer controlled bombs/missles from 40,000ft. That ground defense will be scrap metal in about 15 minutes. If Russia is ever stupid enough to take a run at Europe they would get the full might of the U.S.
