Oh, gotcha. I’ve got some family staying in Shreveport including grand baby. It wasn’t a nothing burger for them.

It’s was bad. I just did a property assessment with my 12 year old. He looked and me like baby yoda and said “welp, guess I know what we’re doing all day.”

No big trees down but limbs everywhere. For north LA I know one dead in Oil City, 2 dead in Haughton, damage to Benton Middle School and I-20 shut down just east of Minden due to trees across it.

Yes, north LA got hammered. They almost always do because north of Alexandria is usually where the most instability occurs. We just don’t get much intense weather in southern LA except for summer storms and hurricanes. Of course ironically some of our worst outbreaks have been in February, though. It’s just hard to erode that marine layer enough to allow for the intense outbreaks down here.

Fiddy, good luck with the clean up. I hate that part. Respect for having a 12 year old that automatically understands he will be part of the cleanup.

70 degrees and storms in Frisco, Tx yesterday.

It's snowing there now.

Weird.

Passed through I-20 earlier. Looks like a bomb went off at the dubach/minden east exit. Billboard on trucks, every tree down for about a mile or two. Road is open now at least. Worst looks like it went through there up into claiborne parish area.

I saw that on radar. The line went from red, yellow, green, then blue. Strange.

The heavy rain just started at my house in Western St. Tammany. Winds not bad.

said that yesterday and got hammered for it. Turns out I was right and am officially the anti-Peej.
Most of these hyped up events in our area of the country turn out to fall flat. It’s those strong arse summer storms that pop up that give us our worst weather it seems. Those happen without warning and every summer somewhere in the BR area gets hammered by one or two.

You were wrong yesterday and you're still wrong today. The fact you don't know how to differentiate the types of severe weather is clear, but don't confused your lack of intelligence with the truth.

Hitting Covington now. Thunder, lightning, fairly heavy rain. Pretty windy, all the trees are rocking.
