Yesterday was a good example of how hard it is to forecast severe weather, esp. tornadoes. DFW ended up just seeing some run of the mill thunderstorms but the atmosphere was more than primed with a record January value recorded for the significant tornado parameter (a good rule of thumb to judge how volatile the atmosphere is).

I'm not sure why it played out the way it did.

I'm pretty sure NEOK, NWA, and SWMO had more Tor warnings than the NETX NLA area.

We didn't have much of a cap up here and still produced multiple tors.

May have had something to do with the warm front. SWMO had multiple warnings.

The guy on Fox 8...Zack Franelli (SP) is very annoying..When he wants emphasize something his voice goes REALLY high..Almost squeaks..
