And driving a vehicle isn’t even a conditionally protected right. Why are we even talking about gun control?
Where did I say anything about gun control. I was replying to someone who said something like "yeah guns" or something... I was just stating what is more likely to happen.

You are dumb, really dumb. For real.

I don't know about anyone else, but I can think of a few teachers I had in HS.. And I would have not wanted them to have a gun.. Plus, they would eventually get stolen.

Obama did not win one single county in the entire state of Oklahoma in either 2008 or 2012.

This is pure stupidity. There are more effective, efficient, and safer ways to protect schools than giving teachers guns. I say that as a former high school coach whose wife is a teacher. Bad, bad idea.
Link me where I said we should give the teachers guns. What I said was, advertised soft targets are fricking dumb, and it Is.

No one is giving teachers guns, the comment was based on training and volunteering on part of teachers. Wouldn't just be passing out guns.

Until teachers can stop rubbing their vaginas on students, I'm hesitant to think they need guns.
That's a really convincing argument for not allowing suitable and appropriately trained teachers, principal's etc. the opportunity to be armed in the classroom.

How about sharing your good, good ideas. Of course, there's no reason a school can't enact multiple means of school protection including both your good, good ideas and other "bad, bad ideas." If you were still teaching in the current climate, would you want the opportunity to be armed in school? If not, why?

Those same teachers probably wouldn't want the added responsibility and training necessary to be armed. An effective principal, policy and administration could avoid the things you fear. Can you not think of a single teacher you had in HS that you would've trusted to be armed (if you were going to school in the current climate)?

Shooting people is trashy.

They still haven’t announced the shooters name. While watching the local news coverage they had dogs sniffing around a car with magnetic signs all over it advertising for you tube channel Yahwehrules 2. Took a quick peak at that channel and pretty sure that dude was the shooter...bat shite crazy and thinks birds are demons and that demons are attacking him all the time. Dude needed help.

quote:This idea is really good, it really is. It’s one of the better ideas we currently have, but like others have said, it just isnt a good enough idea. There are too many horrible teachers out there that would use the weapon to their advantage. It would turn from worrying about students with guns to worrying about dumb teachers out there with a gun who are charge of the children we give away during the day that we hope are in good hands. Idk it’s a rough subject
This is the only way to stop mass shooters, in stores, on the streets and in schools! We need to allow teachers, coaches and principals (etc.) who want to be armed and be trained, to be allowed to carry in our schools.
