That would be logical. But, I think the reality wasn’t that he was being intentionally disrespectful and objectifying her. That’s how things used to be.
Now, he’s confused because she reacted negatively to his comments which, along with the money he spends, is always received positively.
SHE, can compartmentalize what she does. HE, has a skewed view of things. I think to him, he was giving her a compliment…not being disrespectful. He looked hurt.
