I have a desire to find a job that I like that allows me to support my hobbies, which I have.
Reparations have nothing to do with physical disabilities. We are talking able bodied men and women that are bitching that the system is unfair. There is zero excuse.

If there were to be any reparations based on the Civil War, seeing as how the South fricking lost, they should be paying, not receiving....

Southern Unionists were more worried about abuse from their Secesh neighbors than they were the US government. I've found multiple ancestors that served in the 1st Alabama Cavalry. Don't know their stories, but can only assume they were enthusiastic when Union troops showed up in North Alabama. If interested, then check out "Loyalty and Loss" by Margaret Storey. It's about Alabama Unionists during the war and after.

Many of them don't realize that there were big pockets of anti-confederates in Confederate states that were heavily oppressed by the Confederate government and armies.
And that most of the Confederate armies were filled with men who were conscripted to fight against their will.
The whole "fought for their homes against an invading army" propaganda they love to spout off is, quite frankly, a load of horseshite.

Why the need for private golf courses? People like nicer things. There are many public schools better than private schools.
