You have every resource available to you and you’re not getting paid millions upon millions to not work and just enjoy your hobbies?! There is no excuse.

Sounds like you made a shitty choice.

Found a job that pays well, and have a schedule that lets me do things I love. If I wanted to make millions, I’d start saving to invest or open businesses. I don’t care to do that.

Made a great choice. Perfectly content with where I am at. Seems as though there are many that are not content, as they are protesting and rioting over an “unjust” system. They could have chosen to do something else.

Everyone agrees with that “crap” to some degree.

It's called nature vs nurture, and most reasonable people believe we are a product of both, which means we do make choices based on our will.

Predetermination is a fantasy.

Would you agree with the statement that the choices presented to someone will be greatly dependent upon the situation in which they were born?

It’s easier for someone to “score” if they’re born on third base. This isn’t exclusively due to race though.

Some, yes but not all. Many people have overcome their birth status and surroundings by learning and adapting.

I'm against reparations for any one of us Americans.

Our fore fathers and mothers who would qualify are long gone and giving chunks of cash to groups of people fixes nothing.

When the money and liquor are gone it's back to what's next.

No group living today has earned the right to say they deserve it.

Bunch of mooching pussies.

Similar to giving reparations to people based on their skin pigmentation indicating they may hail from Africa, but it could be they hail from Haiti or Jamaica, or maybe they came over post civil war from Nigeria on a visa to get an education and then became a citizen. Exactly how are you going to tell For certain if someone comes from someone in the south that suffered, and what if only 1/3 of their lineage comes from the south in the civil war, and the other 2/3rds is from Italy in 1911. Do they get 1/3 reparations? Hey, what if they’re 2/3rds black? Does the 2/3rds get more because they were southern blacks, and the white southern part gets less?

these things are so incredibly stupid. Not one human being living today is at fault or suffered anything from it, but let’s rob the treasury and dole out gifts to people because two people had sex and here you are.

No, nobody alive today was directly affected by the Civil War. But it's an interesting question to bring up after the Second Civil War is over.
