Funny how none of the astronauts that we claim went to the moon were enthusiastic about it in interviews.

like that time Buzz knocked out a moon denier?

y'all really need to learn how to read and comprehend.

the tech we used in the 60's is completely outdated now and would never get approval to be used today.
it was not an uncommon practice (especially in the 60s and 70s) across multiple industries to discard stuff that was no longer being used.

other than to be in a museum or something, there is no other reason to still have that 1960's tech. it would never be used today even if we had every detail laid out on a table in chronological order for someone to follow step by step.

Ford discarded the vast majority of the tech they used to develop and build the 1965 Mustang.
Do you belief that car never existed because Ford threw that useless shite away?

Ford seriously could not build a 1965 Mustang today if they wanted to without having to reverse engineer a good portion of it.
But just like the Saturn V, even if they did build it, it couldn't be sold (other than to be in a Garage or Museum) today.

we are currently in the process of developing and building current technology to use in today's world.
just like Ford is building current Mustangs.

Oh you mean the stalker? Buzz didn't punch him for denying he went to the moon, he punched him because the guy was stalking him.

And yet a man hasn't been to the moon in over 50 years. We supposed to have a ship going today but man is deciding to sit this one out for the hundredth time in over 50 years. The moon! Psh!!!

It should be landing in about 10 minutes. The lander is supposed to shoot out a small camera onto the surface of the moon just before landing to video the landing for the first 3rd person POV pictures of a moon landing.

because it's expensive and we'd rather spend that money elsewhere.

It should be on the surface by now. No contact yet from the lander. They were expecting a couple minutes comm outage.

why risk a human life when a robot can do all the work.

it's why we use drones in the military when we can.

BS. We spend millions of dollars on finding out how long it takes a mosquito to frick in Bangladesh or if a gay panda needs a shrink at a zoo in Singapore. If you believe the cost is the problem, you'll believe we put a man on the moon. I'm not surprised.

So, it's your contention that we didn't put a man on the moon, is that correct? Did we at least put men in orbit around the moon? Or was that nonsense as well? What about putting men in orbit around the earth? The space station? Skylab? All that nonsense as well?

Says they're picking up a faint signal. But telemetry showed a slight unscheduled roll in the spacecraft just before touchdown.

Since when does the government value life? Quit being a moron.

No. We use drones in the military because it's faster than sending a guy with a grenade or a rocket. Nothing to do with saving lives. We would have an army of T2s and wouldn't need men volunteering.

I bet you're glued to the TV right now. You're seeing only what they want you to see.
