We're a few decades into this internet shite. I don't feel bad for anyone on either side that hasn't learned to shut the frick up on social media accounts that have their real name attached. Just another job opening at this point.

I honestly thought you were more intelligent thsn this.
Men are making decisions now; move along.

I'm not at all a fan of Gov't officials promoting it. That's getting a little too close to free speech intrusion.
I am, however, totally fine with anyone publicly celebrating murder being called out.
Being canceled for having different political opinions is one thing, but if you're fine with people being murdered for political opinions, people around you should know, including your employer.

So should a teacher who posts something racist on social media be allowed to keep teaching?
What about a cop who posts something supporting the abuse of citizens?
Or a soldier who posts about supporting an enemy nation?
There are limits to what an employer will and should put up with, they set those limits.
Each one of those examples obvious

At least you're honest about the transition into being more like the left. It's still pathetic af, but at least you own it

Charlie experienced the ultimate cancelation.

Looks like the new talking points are out.

Consequence culture isn’t cancel culture.
Calling up people’s jobs literally is cancel culture. That’s exactly what the left did when they were canceling left and right. Hell y’all are using the same lingo to rationalize it too, any time someone brought up how toxic and bad it was they’d immediately snap back "freedom of speech doesn’t mean freedom from consequences"
The right suddenly is trying to enforce hate speech, what a world

No more obvious to me than if a person in each of those professions says they are glad a conservative is dead because of his beliefs. Each is responsible for protecting and or educating people, and celebrating deaths because of political beliefs proved them untrustworthy to do so for some not insignificant part of those they serve.

No, just an actual conservative who isn't consumed with being more like left. You should try it

Yes, the left pushes stupid and provably bad ideas. Also they are inherently violent and incapable of impartiality. So yes, this is good that they are being canceled.

you a conservative.
sure, Jan.

Canceling someone for simply having liberal views would be wrong. I don’t see any problem with canceling someone for celebrating/glorifying a murder of a good man, though. There’s the difference.

I think it is acceptable for a company to not want to be associated with a person whose behavior they deem unacceptable. I believe this regardless of the political association of the person getting fired. They don't HAVE to post their opinions on social media.
