When I bagged groceries there from 1980-1983, Mr. Joe himself would’ve come down off of his director’s chair to pistol whip the driver.

Big Lee would’ve been their first call to pull the car out. RIP

After 75, there should be a driving test involved for a license. Reflexes and vision aren’t what they used to be. I’d say the same for teens, too. Yearly, until 21. Have seen plenty of young drivers causing accidents on the way home from school.

I knew those much needed SNAP changes were needed and that violence against mainstream stores would follow.

I was told glass and pieces of the car flew all the way to the back of the store. Must have been driving at a good rate of speed. Lucky no customers or employees got hit .

It trigger all of the air bags....

As FSD becomes more and more ubiquitous, elderly won’t have to drive. You’ll have self driving vehicles to come pick them up, go to store, etc. I could see a world where Medicare subsidizes some of it such as doctors appointments etc

There is also a big red pipe that was there to stop idiots from driving into the store.

“Bollard” That is, if it was a vertical pipe.

“ Good chance driver was 80 +”

I lived in Bull Shoals,Arkansas a couple years, worked at hospital in Mountain Home.Lots of retirees in that area.
Crashing into buildings was a monthly occurrence.
Shortly before I left they built a new post office in Bull Shoals, first week it was open old lady ran through the front wall and ended up in the lobby.

My next door neighbor was working in that Hallmark store when it happened. She mentioned it yesterday after we heard about the Dorignac’s accident.

Nothing will stop an old man’s need for that fresh Chisesi ham

Chisesi is good...until you discover Frick's. You'll drop Chisesi as fast as the old man dropped the accelerator on the front of Dorignac's. Stay fat.
