Obviously not immediately.
If the script was flipped and poor people tended to have labradoodles because they were seen as less desirable, they would 100% start killing people at the same rate. People in the income bracket that typically own pitbulls, generally don't know how to handle a dog, use them as protection, etc. Dogs mimic their owners. This is not a pitbull specific phenomenon. The owners of pitbulls are typically aggressive, impulsive, etc. The dogs follow suit.
If aggressive people started to own labradoodles, labradoodles owned by those aggressive people would mimic their owner's behavior.
Honestly, you people have no idea what you're talking about when it comes to dogs.

But these "bad owners" aren't running around the neighborhood chomping into children. We're all of sudden gonna see a bunch of doodles running around with doo rags and brass knuckles looking for blood?

Aggression is not isolated to chomping into children.
Let's say a person is aggressive in their home. They're loud. They perceive everything as a threat. Even to their friends they're a little too aggressive when hanging out. Quick spats are not out of the ordinary, maybe there's child abuse or domestic violence in the home. Maybe there's yelling every day.
That does not go unnoticed by a dog. The dog picks up on that behavior and their view of the world is primarily "yell, loud, aggressive, threat" even to those commonly around them. If that's how people in their circle are being treated, even kids at times, that means that anyone not in the circle is especially a threat that needs to be closely watched.
All they have is our perception by which to filter the world.

That’s it?
Heat- 2000 deaths per year (US)
Falling out of bed-450-700 deaths per year (US)
Parking Lot deaths-500 / Year (US)
Ladders- 300-400 deaths per year (US)
Toilet related deaths- 400 per year (US)
Deer vehicle Deaths- 200 per year ( US)
Vending Machines - 10-15 per year (US)
I could go on and on. Quit being such a Pussy and understand that almost EVERYTHING in your day to day life can or will kill you. Quit trying to OUTLAW anything you perceive as dangerous and blaming it all on a dog. Try outlawing DEER instead of Dogs if you’re concerned about human deaths.

Let me guess - you've been riding for years without a seatbelt and haven't died yet? In fact, it's even more comfortable than wearing the seatbelt?
Solid take.
He was a stray as a puppy. He hung around my place of work for a week, so I took him home. I snagged another rescue the same way. She is a border collie mutt. They sincerely loved each other. I have a fenced in yard with a gate and crate trained them both. They both successfully went through training as well.
I never planned on getting a dog that was part pit. I didn’t know what the hell he was other than a stray that liked attention when I came and went on my lunch break.
You guys in here can whine all you want. You can lie to yourselves about a dog you’ve never met. How much “pit” was he? No clue, I didn’t do genetic testing. I’ve had golden retrievers and labs, and he was by far the friendliest dog I ever owned.
Maybe I was lucky. Maybe he was lucky. I realize this story doesn’t fit the narrative, but I had zero trouble with him as a dog for 12 years. I realize this phrase is stupid, just like your weird seatbelt analogy, but “sorry not sorry”.
