Switch pediatricians. Absolutely necessary.

Well, for one, I would recommend a new pediatrician, as your current one is going against the guidelines of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the CDC.
And, yes, I would recommend getting your son the vaccine.

Why? It's a no-brainer.

Yes
took the staff to study head and neck cancer at MD Anderson. HPV is causing cancer every place possibly used for sex. A cancer epidemic

HPV is not transmitted via casual contact.
What the frick is casual contact? Like the penis brushes against a vagina momentarily?

As a nurse that has spent over half my career working with teenagers. Yes. Get the dang immunization. HPV is rampant, out of control and is a precursor to cancer. Get it before he starts sleeping around. I cannot emphasize this enough.

Currently, there is a borderline epidemic of head and neck cancer with HPV to blame. Stats aren't out, but I'd expect it to also reduce these cancers as well.
Same thing the cancer doctor told me. Said plenty of THE HPV cancers aren't diagnosed. If there's low chance of being worse off due to side effects I say get him the shot. I know the other side of it and after a year since ending my treatments I still have side effects from the radiation treatment to my neck. I'll probably never be able to eat or drink anything and have it taste like it did before radiation. Some days it's like a dry dead ashy feeling and taste in my mouth.

frick no. That commercial is bullshite. A boy is more likely to get killed in a wreck than to get cancer from HPV. Not putting the virus in him to prevent that harmless shite. Girls need it for sure.

That's like the root canals cause cancer. HPV is just a as common as root canals and getting the blame.

Your Pediatrician is wrong.
Get the vaccine.

1) it doesn't even contain killed virus- only recombinant proteins. There is no virus in the vaccine.
2) where do the girls get it (ETA- HPV, the virus, not the vaccine) from?

Isn't HPV the virus that causes warts?
