I get my information from having a standard poodle that runs and retrieves rings around family members doodles which are overweight and can’t get out of their own way.

Maybe your family members should take better care of their dogs instead of letting them get fat.
Doodles also weren't bred to make a better sporting dog. They are a designer breed.

Yea, I am not sure. My doodle is about 1 year old and weighs 55 lbs. Lean and athletic with a lot of fur. Loves to run, does a couple miles with either me or my wife every day

Our friend has one and it looks a lot more like a poodle than a golden. People call it a poodle to piss him off and it works. For a while it had a vagina infection so they had to put a cream on it's hooha and make it wear doggie diapers.

How can you not like golden retrievers? Arguably one the single best breeds of dogs.
ETA: Goldendooodles are good dogs, but I would rather the retriever by a mile.

my inlaws have 2 standard poodles. both weigh more than 50lbs and are in good shape. I can't tell if you are trolling or not.

this is absolutely true. i know 2 newly married couple that have whateverdoodles.
sure they are pretty, playful, and intelligent. not all that well behaved (these aren't at least), but i'll take my vizsla over one every single day of the week.
