I'll certainly be swearing if I see them.

I think that it is usually a little closer to May.

They were swarming this afternoon, which was odd because I thought they only swarming the evening/night hours.

Yeah, just saw a pretty big amount as well. Have a golf net in my backyard and always have a bunch of wings on it this time of year. Just checked it and they are there.

Easterns swarm during the day. Theyve been swarming in Mobile for several weeks. Formosan swarm in the evening, but usually don't start till around Mothers Day.

Well shite… I killed what I thought was a termite this morning. It had wings, but thought to myself, nah, it’s a bit too early for the mother’s day termite swarm.

I thought so too. Usually the swarm peaks between Cinco de Mayo and Mother’s Day.

Our warm February must have made them come out early and March was fairly dry.

I didn’t see Termites, but I did see Lovebugs are out and I am not talking about the car.

I was working outside around lunchtime and they were swarming all over, landing on me, etc. Was quite annoying.

And love-friggin-bugs hatching in east Texas.
Wish there was a way to get termites, mosquitoes and love bugs to consume each other.

OMG YES! Got home earlier and wanted to spend some time on the patio but that was a big NOPE. Took a leave blower and kept blowing them off the pad but they magically reappeared faster than I could blow them away.

Gave up and tried to do a bit of garden work and they must have followed me so I gave up and came in and turned the Masters on the tube and LSUBB on the LT.

Between the swarm, the Tigers and these damn allergies this has been a crappy afternoon.

Got home about 4pm today and they were everywhere. Seems they've been worse the last few years, at least more than I can recall.
