Had no interest in watching it, but I did hear that the women's soccer team didn't do so well. And that a third place finish for a female hammer thrower became her 15 minutes of fame that she used to show contempt for the country that she represented.
Maybe, just maybe, if these sad folks would focus on what they are really there to do instead of being a human political billboard they might fare better.
Can't say that I'm sorry to hear of their failures.

I've been watching it pretty much every day since it started. I've yet to see anyone disrespect our country in any sort of way.

The best thing is when they just focus on the competition and not on all of the boring personal stories about the athletes, usually accompanied by a soft piano. All of their personal tragedies, angst and suffering. Like, who cares about that crap?
